how do the derivations in transformer operate..... top down in their grid??Or what is the sequence of operation of the derivations in transformer??

Yes, derivations within a link 'operate top down in their grid'. However, you might as well think of them as simultaneous as you can't use the result of one in another. That's what stage variables are for.

As noted in your other post, links fire in their link order and their derivations are only evaluated if allowed to by their constraint.
