Scheduing of dataStage sequences.

In our project we run sequences to load records everydy.we have scheduled sequences in Unix.I want to know is there any difference,if I schedule job using datasatage director or schedule using Unix.

By Unix, if you mean cron - I wouldn't think there is a difference as DS uses cron - you can view them in the cron/atjobs file. Additionally, you get a nice gui to configure them :)

If it is an enterprise scheduler like autosys or Control-M on unix, you get lot more options on scheduling compared to director.
