Hi got this error msg while vewiing the data in Oracle enterprise stage ...
##E TDOR 000172 Access to sys.dba_extents is required but not available; please see your database administrator for select privileges.
Can you tell me how to resolve it ....But able to select the records through TOAD

Search the forum. This has been answered a gazillion times before.
Basically DataStage needs SELECT privilege on certain system tables to determine whether the table is partitioned, and if so how. TOAD doesn't care - it operates sequentially.
