Space? :?

I'm not sure there's enough 8.x experience here to answer that one. Best to open a Support case if you haven't done so already.

Have you run out of disk space on the file system where you are trying to install this project?

IBM CASE 701082

Post by cundyp »

IBM Case 701082 has been opened to address this issue.

Ray: Have you run out of disk space on the file system where you are trying to install this project?

The file system is shared with DataStage 7.5.2. The project that was at issue was when we tried to add a project to IIS 8.0.1.

We checked the file system and IBM checked the port assignments.

The interesting thing is that we can still add projects to the DataStage 7.5.2 environment.

DataStage 7.5.2 and IIS 8.0.1 coexist on the same server.

Oracle repository not sized adequately

Post by cundyp »

We were unable to add a project to IIS 8.0.1 after adding two projects previously.

Initially we cleaned up the file system directories and files but this didn't work.

We then had the Oracle DBA increase the Oracle 10i repository by 300% to 4gig and this worked.
We had not sized the repository adequately.

We are now able to create projects in both DataStage 7.5.2 and IIS 8.0.1!!

Ah... so it was a space issue! Just need to realize the different kinds of 'space' involved now.
