Question regarding DataStage 7.5x2 Installation

Dear DS Gurus.

I installed Visual C++ .net 2005 compiler instead of Visual C++ .net 2003 before installing DataStage 7.5x2. Everything is working fine, but the jobs does'nt compile which have transformer stage. Can someone throw some light on this issue, is it compulsory to install only Visual C++ .net 2003 compiler or Visual C++ .net 2005 works fine?

Even though compilers are usually backward compatible as well, the docs do state specific compiler versions as mandatory. When you say the jobs won't compile have you looked at the error messages to see if the errors might be due to compiler switches?
