We would like to know if there are any stages considered to be as plug-in stages for parallel jobs.

Stages like FTP and CFF are plug-in stages in server jobs. How about for parallel jobs? Are there any stages considered to be as plug-ins that needs to be taken care during the DS server installation for Enterprise Edition?

Yes. The CFF and FTP stages are plug ins in enterprise edition as well. Get a list of all the plugin stages for Enterprise edition from IBM. If you have access to parallel docs, you will find the list there as well.

My definition of plug-in is that it requires software from outside of DataStage to work - such as a database client or a separate processing engine. Most of the new DataStage 8 plug-ins will be for parallel jobs - such as the data quality and federation server plugins. I would call CFF a standard stage rather than a plugin stage.
