Connecting to SQL server on Windows from PX

Hi,

Is it possible to connect to a SQL server on Windows using DataStage Parallel Edition? Our parallel Edition runs in a Linux platform and I am not sure If we can connect to the SQL server on Windows. Have some one ever tried this before?

Also, I don't see any ODBC stage in our Repository that I can use. Could some one assist me in where I can find the required information?

Try connecting using the ODBC stage.

In manager try to find ODBC Enterprise Stage in Stage Types -> Parallel -> Database.

We are using ODBC stage to select/insert into Sql Server and is working fine.

Thanks for your reply Phanee. The ODBC Enterprise stage is available in the Manager.
