Hi all,
we have installed DataStage 8.0.1 on AIX 5.2 but we are not able to see SQL Server Enterprise Stage.
An any one tell me what are the possible causes for that?

one more thing is that
we want to create DSN to use ODBC connector on unix.

can any one tell me how to configure a DSN to use ODBC connector Stage?

Hello,

for dsn ODBC, you have to declarate them in the DSEngine/ODBC.ini AND in the uvodbc.config for each projects.

Good luck

Hi,

Can you tell the procedure to get the SQL Server enterprise stage on the palette?

Thanks

hi, this is ODBC, no SQL Server stage.

But as it is DS 8.0, you have the Generic Database stage (i've never worked with 80, i've only seen demos)

I'm not sure.

You also may need a license to get the stage on the palette.

That odbc.ini has a dot / period in front of it. .odbc.ini

It's a hidden file.

You only get SQL Server Enterprise stage if DataStage server is installed on a Windows platform. You are on AIX.
