Is it possible to have Sparse lookup on TeraData Enterprise stage ?
Is there a Workaround :?:

No. Sparse lookup is documented as only being for DB2 and Oracle.

No, unless you're prepared to spend the time and effort to create a stage with that capability, or spend megabucks paying IBM to do so.

So this isn't something that they have fixed for Hawk?

It can't be fixed, it wasn't broken. It's working as documented.
Page 239 of Parallel Job Developer's Guide version 8.0 says DB2 and Oracle only.

Sheesh, you sound like a lawyer or a politician.

One man's bug is another man's feature. Okay, so 'fix' may not be the right term. Do you know of any plans to add 'sparse lookup' capabilities to the Teradata Enterprise stage?

Brad.

(I know of no such plan.)

using ODBC stage, you can do sparse lookup on teradata table.
