Parallel Job Metadata problem

Parallel Job Metadata problem

Hi,
We have a problem in the Enterprise Edition of DataStage 7.5. The job is aborting if any of the length of column name in the Informix source stage is greater than 19. Are you aware of this bug? Is there any patch to fix the bug?

What version of Informix are you using? I heard that for most versions, the size limit of column names is 18. Did not confirm it though, you can google it up.

We are using Informix XPS 8.4 version. I agree that length is limited to 18.

Nothing left to say then, is there? Maybe you could stop specifying column names longer than 18 characters and mark the thread as Resolved.
