Hi All,
Currently we have DS 7.5.1.A Server running on solaris 9.we are planning to upgrade to solaris 10.
Can u please anyone tell me what are advantages and disadvantages of solaris 10 related with DS 7.5.1.A server?

Hi,
I had some relevant experiance a whil back with such an upgrade (even worst 8 to 10) if my memory serves me take the following into account:
Your DB stage will remain the same.
You should relink your libraries (your support should have the details for doing that) to a 32bit client library not the default (might be 64 bit) after setting the apropriate environment variables.
That's about it, I don't recall any specific issues that should still be out there with 10.2 ( I think there was something with 10.1)

Beware of the gotcha on Solaris 10, you need to apply the latest software patches for the OS Kernel and other stuff for Solaris before migrating your DataStage Server. :D
