Regarding Connected and Unconnected lOOKUPS

Hi Gurus,

I have worked with lookup transformation, but never came across connected and unconnected lookup.Where does we use such type of transformation.

I think unconnected lookup is 'In Memory Lookup' and connected lookup is 'Direct Lookup or Sparse Lookup'. As far as I know, this kind of lookups are available for DB2 only.

DB2 or Oracle Enterprise stages support sparse lookup.
