C++ compiler

Which C++ compiler will be suitable to compile the transformer stage of datastage 7.5x2 ?
I have installed DataStage 7.5x2 EE but dont know which C++ compiler should be installed.

I believe you need the MS Visual Studio C++ compiler that ships with Visual Studio. I have heard that using the free version on the MS MSDN site is problematic and requires patches from IBM to make it work.
Once installed there should be no further configuration on your part to make it work.

For 7.5.x2 version, Visual net 2003 is the preferred compiler. 7.5.x2 was specifically designed for that version and all later versions do not work. Once you get to 8.0.1, the latest version works.
