Notepad, Word, Ultra-edit, Wordpad, AMI Pro, Wordstar, etc. Rather than modify your configuration file, how about copying it and make many different ones? How about node pools instead?

Hi Gurus,
I copied the configuration file, where to edit to define the no of nodes assigned to particular process.

what is the reason for doing this? You definitely have to go through the Managers guide before you start playing with them.

Just go to DS Manager and under the Tools menu choose Configurations. You can play with them there. I think you need to spend some time reading the PDF's under your Start button about configuring node pools.

In the GUI tool choose Save As to create a new configuration file name (which ends in ".apt") and edit that. Don't forget to click Check to make sure that there are no errors or warnings.
