Hi All,

I have a requirement, some body have deleted my job from repository, I don't have the same job in version control also. Is it any way to restore the same job like windows ?

where did this job go after deletion ? is it any repository to keep this ?

I think you are screwed.

Krazy used the colloquial method of giving you the bad news. On a technical level - once you have deleted a job the information is permanently removed and is not recoverable apart from restoring a backup .dsx copy, if available.

You need to download DataStageBackup.bat from my links below my signature. Most people using this batch file backup development every weekday and production once a week. I usually do this from a client at work which is not portable. Needs to be at work every night. It also needs the DataStage client loaded.

We usually schedule these backups for 2am. You need to monitor the disk space. You can fill up a disk drive pretty fast with 100mb files.
