APT_PMwaitForPlayersToStart error

APT_PMwaitForPlayersToStart error

Hi All

when i am running a parallel job i am getting this fatal error

"main_program: Fatal Error: Unable to start ORCHESTRATE job: APT_PMwaitForPlayersToStart failed while waiting for players to confirm startup. This likely indicates a network problem.
Status from APT_PMpoll is 0; node name is node1"

i am SQL server database

Can any one help

How busy is your machine? Is this error limited to just one job or any/all PX jobs? Does this happen every time or just occasionally?

we r running 1 or 2 jobs at a time this occurs rarely this error comes for all jobs

Then it's likely to be a network problem of some kind. Get your network administrator to check the NICs can cabling, and network configuration. Otherwise, monitor the network (LAN?) to make sure it's not saturated; if it is, install a dedicated network (separate domain) between the machines in your configuration.
