No.

The only, repeat only, version of DataStage lower than 8 that supports parallel execution on a Windows platform is 7.5x2

Oh so there a PX version of DS on windows aslo.

I thought on windows only Server is available and PX is only available on Unix. Does it use the OSH on windows as well or something else?

It cheats. When you install 7.5x2 along with everything else it installs MKS Toolkit. It uses this as its UNIX for running osh.

However, you still need a C++ compiler to have been installed in order to use the parallel Transformer stage, BuildOp and so on, in this case the Visual Studio compiler.

Whatever answer is posted to that question will become out of date. Check the IBM website for a current answer.

Generally, the one with the highest number.

As Ray notes, it changes frequently and depends on platform as well. Best to hunt down where the eServices website ended up and check the matrix there.

Historical Note
Craig uses the word "generally" advisedly, since he is aware that version 3.0 came out before version 2.5.

Yes, generally. I'm assuming people care more about DataStage's Holocene era rather than how things worked in the Mesozoic.

I thought I was the only one who had worked for the Discovery channel.

Last DataStage server version is 7.5.2 for any platform
Last DataStage enterprise (parallel) version is 7.5x2 for Windows 2003, but it's hard to make it works fine.
