Post by IFMTCS »

When we import Progress Database table definitions into DS through ODBC the length of some fields is changing. Length of intger fields is getting doubled...can any one explain why it is happening so....

They are being recognized as NChar or NVarChar, and two bytes per character are being reserved.

You are getting whatever the ODBC driver reports during import. The only way to change that is to edit it afterwards (or perhaps to get a different ODBC driver).
