Is stored procedure stage recommended in DSEE

Hi,
I read in the Install guide that DSEE does not recommend SP using ODBC. But now that there is a stored procedure stage, is this recommended? Does this stage return the correct result set when invoked.
Is it wise to use a stored procedure stage or do we have to substitute that.
All help/info is appreciated.

Surely, since this is a vendor recommendation, you should ask this question of the vendor (through your support provider of course).
