Hi

The site says total question : 79 (approx)

Is it 75 /79 or 75%
75/79 is 95% and a tough nut to crack...
Please let me know if its 75% or 75

Yes it is.
This question was discussed when the test first appeared. Searching the forum will let you read that discussion, which was inconclusive.

Where's the challenge in that??? Even if the pass mark were 75/79 that ought not to prevent you from attempting the test. You should be aiming at scoring 100%.

So??? Maybe
this site will help. I wonder if IBM would allow it as an alternate certification exam?

I know, some of the questions not described clearly, especially in "Data Transformation" etc. It took 3 to 4 mins to figure it out " what IBM is asking??"

I guess they are part of testing sample questions. I don't think I did all of them right. Certification is just a show peice.

To be precise, it is not 75% of 79 or you can miss 19 out of 79. The questions are weighted by category, I believe.

No, becasue you have introduced a statistical abnormality. 75% presumes 100 sample points. 75.0% presumes 1000 sample points. A percentage figure with 30 digits following the decimal place presumes 10**32 sample points.
To complete a certification test with that number of items would require an infinite number of monkeys working the breaks in between typing out the complete works of Shakespeare.
