Insert job parameter in PX Stages behaves oddly

Although I am having thsi isue on a Winblows 7 box, my coworker accross from me is not and she is on a winblows 7 box as well.

Oh welll, we are slated to upgarde to DS 8.5 anyways so, hopefuly that clears it up.

One of our tech guys who is familliar with DataStage came accross this on the IBM website:

I tried it and it solved my problem. Note that it does not appear to be only a windows 7 issue as others in our area started seeing thi son Windows XP

Interesting, a registry hack. My only concern might be that it is not specific to DataStage but will effect your entire Windows installation.

Quick follow up.

Thus far no adverse affects to any other windows application after doing the registery fix
