Soumya, it may be a bug in View Data. In View Data of a Data Set on a single trimmed spaces varchar column, it does appear that one space is in there. If you read the data from the data set, then it actually comes out as an empty string, which is how it was stored. So, I think it must be a bug while viewing data on a single column. I also do not see this issue with more than one column, just like you said.

I have load the dataset into a DB2 table. But it has loaded as space not as empty.I think it is one kind of issue with dataatsge
