Capturing Reject records

Now, if I replace Seq File (at the other end of Reject link) with Peek, it works. So, any idea why I am not able to use Seq file to capture the rejected records.

Because the columns collection is a property of the link. If you directly connect the two passive stages, then the link is visible to each stage. An inserted Peek stage provides the insulating layer. You could also use a Copy stage (with Force property set to True).
