DSjob Using Teradata Fastload

i was just going through your post "Datastage 7x Enterprise Edition with Teradata" from JoshyGeorge in which in states that if we are using TD API for loading we can achieve good performance if we hash the keys based on t he PI on the target table. Do you have any benchmarks for this ? or performance stats ? A comparision with the Enterprise stage? Would you suggest to use API with the above mentioned method instead of the Enterprise stage?
