Convert timestamp to MMDDCCYYHHMMSS

No, not exactly but if that works for you then stick with it.
What I was referring to is when you go to the column's tab, right click on the timestamp field and go to extended properties. You will have an option to set the mask there.

If I go to columns tab right click on the timestamp column and select 'edit row' I can see where I can set a mask, but not sure what you mean by 'extended properties'?

Bingo. Thats what I meant by extended properties. I am so bad with the names these days. My px knowledge is getting rusted as I am currently on a server site. Sorry for the misdirection.
