I was under the assumption that the WS Application Server would install with Information Server, as the above post indicates. Any ideas on why we are seeing a difference?
Also some previous posts seem to indicate that WS Application Server needs to be installed before Information Server. Anbody have any further experince with this?

yes, you need to install first Websphere (with all packages) and then, go for Datastage installation
Were you able to install it? May you want share with us what difficulties you had and how you solve them?
