Hi,
I need to pull some data from Sybase database and also write some data back.
I can see 3 different stages in Datastage Sybase enterprise, Sybase IQ and Sybase OC.
Since I do not see any Sybase connector stage, I am now confused which stage to use and what scenario's decide the stage choice.
Best stage for Sybase database

You are correct that there is no Sybase Connector stage.
For general purpose work the Sybase Enterprise stage should be preferred. This supports parallel processing.
The Sybase OC stage uses the old plug-in architecture, and is less efficient than the Sybase Enterprise stage (and has slightly less functionality).
The Sybase IQ 12 Load stage is only about bulk loading data into Sybase IQ version 12. This is not what you are seeking to do.
