Stage Variable - Order of execution

All,

I would like to know the order of execution of stage variables.

Say for example, StageVar1, StageVar2, StageVar3...

Does datastage apply top down or bottom up approach while applying & accessing the values to the stage variables ?

Inputs are welcome!

After 6 years and 700 posts on the site, these are the kind of questions that make me think that DSXchange userids are handed down from generation to generation like a Hummel from grandma.

True, but are the Hummels handed down from generation to generation from the top down or bottom up?

Top to bottom.

Stage variables not yet executed retain their value from the previous row (or from initialization if processing row number 1).

Just curious: why are you asking?
