Pivot enterprise stage Arrey size

Post by sam334 »

All,
Have a question on Pivot enterprise stage if anyone used it before. Got below example from IBM dev guide. It works fine. But how do we specify ARREY SIZE when we do not now the data due to large volume. This works fine but I have to pivit where Smith is 4 times and Yamanda is 3 times. WHat would be the arrey size then.

Table 1. Input data for vertical pivot operation REPID last_name Q_sales
100 Smith 1234.08
100 Smith 1456.80
100 Smith 1578.00
101 Yamada 1245.20
101 Yamada 1765.00
101 Yamada 1934.22

Thanks.

I don't believe there are any hard and fast rules, it's usually a matter of experimentation. And the word is "array", by the way.
