Query on SCD Stage

Query on SCD Stage

Hi,
I'm using SCD stage for Type 1 Dimension.
As part of daily load, we have inserts and updates to the Target Table.

Please help on how to identify the inserts and updates from the Output of SCD stage. For Type2 dimensions, we can identify based on Change Indicator but for Type 1, i'm unable to find option from SCD stage.

Create a Current Indicator column in the Dim Update tab -- Derivation-'I' Expire-'U'. All the rows with current indicator column = 'U' would be update records and 'I' would be new records.
