DB2: A connection failed but has been re-established

Post by kurapatisrk »

Hello guru's,

I am back with a issue elaborated below...

I have a job below...

dataset ------> DB2 Connector

Job runs and after sometime aborts with the below error..

A connection failed but has been re-established. The hostname or IP address is "XXXXXX" and the service name or port number is "XXXX". Special register settings might have been replayed. (Reason code = "1"). SQLSTATE=08506

Can anyone help me with this ?
Thanks

The first thing I'd do would be an internet search for SQLSTATE=08506

Information limited.

1. DS Server has DB2 installed?
2. What is the result of client connectivity from DS server to DB2 (without through DS)?
