Oracle Connector Stage will use DataDirect

Oracle Connector Stage will use DataDirect

Hi

I have some doubt. Most of the our jobs used oracle EE stage and Oracle Connector stages. Recently we are hitting semaphores limit is maxout. our AIX Admin saying something issue with DataDirect.

I hope Oracle EE & Oracle Connector stage will use Oracle client only instead of DataDirect. Only ODBC stage will use DataDirect.

Is this correct?

You are correct. DataDirect is the vendor that supplies the ODBC drivers that ship with DataStage. Both the Oracle Connector stage and Oracle Enterprise stage use OCI.
