How to generate a UTF-8 file in DS 8.5

Hi All,

Can any one help me generate a UTF-8 file in DS 8.5

Also i need to check if it is a UTF-8 file or an ANSI file generated out of DS 8.5

I have tried to set up NLS as UTF-8 at property level and at stage level.

But when i open the file and do a save as i see the file encoding type as ANSI instead of UTF-8

Thanks a lot for the reply..
We were using notepad,
Notepad is showing up the encoding type as UTF-8 after saving the mannually created sample file in UTF-8 but the file generated out of DS 8.5 do not show the file encoding type as UTF-8 instead it shows ANSI.
Do you mean we should not check it using notepad instead we should use Binary editor.

Yes, you should not use notepad or wordpad for analysis of this type.
