Hi
As part of a major overhaul in our project, we are migrating from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008, as a target database. All our DataStage 8.1 ETL jobs fetch data from Oracle and populate tables in SQL Server.
We use ODBC Enterprise stages and have DataDirect Release 5.3 Service Pack 1 drivers installed (which are the default ones shipped with IS 8.1).
Could you please let me know whether IS 8.1 is compatible with SQL Server 2008 ? We would be also upgrading our drivers to 6.0 SP2 or above.
I searched for similar posts but most of them relate to the SQL server enterprise stages and not connectivity through ODBC.

Check the DataDirect web site and/or product manuals for database versions supported by the ODBC drivers.
Also check with DataStage Support to get confirmation.
