Parameter Set Changes not getting saved

Post by udayk_2007 »

Hello Friends

We are facing a strange issue of changes not getting saved to Parameter Set.
Sometime we add parameter to parameter set and when we check the parameter set next day,its not there.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance

That is strange. What if you check it immediately after making a change? Even after 1 hour? Do you have anything custom and unusual scheduled to run overnight, like a DSX or istool (ISX) import, that could be overwriting it?

What version are you on? Have you checked with support?

Thanks for your responses

We can see the changes immediately after making the changes but yes sometimes even after 1 hr change does not appear there. No scheduled task is running which could be impacting this.

We are on DataStage 8.5

Thanks once again

For something like that, as noted, I would contact your official support provider.

Does that happen across all your projects or only in one project?

Thanks guys for your responses.

We have only single project on our datastage server. This project is having this issue.

Yes. Our datastage admin team is working with official support to get a resolution
