Hi Everyone,

In my Designer,local and shared container tabs are disabled at location
EDIT->CONSTRUCT CONTAINER->local
Shared
Can anyone put some some light on it why they are disabled and what i need to do to get them enable to use.

You need to have selected one or more stages.

Ray....cant we complile or run shared container?

I hav selected shared container and create a job like....

seqfile->column_generator->sharedcontainer->trget_seqfile
but i m unable to compile or run the job as they are disable....

pl help me out..

Actually i want to use the shared container output as an input in another job.

Not possible.

A shared container has fixed functionality. It can not be used to write in one job and read in another.

Create two "companion" shared containers.
