Regarding environment variables in Shared containers

Post by vivekgadwal »

Hello,

We have some shared containers (parallel) that were created some time ago in version 8.0 which have environment variables. As we are planning to enhance, new environment variables have to be added to these shared containers. However, neither am I able to see the button to add environment variables in the Job properties window, nor am I able to type the variable in it. We do have version 8.0 too, so I tried there in vain.

Can anyone let me know how to accomplish this?

Thanks,
Vivek.

Shared containers do not support (and never have supported) environment variable parameters. They only have string and encrypted parameter types. The job in which the shared container is used can have environment variable parameters, and these can be linked to string or encrypted parameters of the container.
