Please tell the difference between sequential file,file set and lookup file set in datastage 8.1 parallel edition.

Actually, he is quite correct. You need to go read the manual. This is something that is clearly explained in the DataStage Parallel Developers Guide, and forum members generally will not address questions like this.

We provide assistance after you have read the manuals and can't understand how to apply the technology.

So, if after you read the sections on sequential files and file sets, you have specific questions regarding the technology, please feel free to post specific questions.
