how to break columns to get subtotals.

how to break that column mentioned in calculating subtotal
Hi,
iam new to datastage and am in learning stage. please let me know how to break coloumns to get subtotals in other row.
i used unix command in sequential stage filter option its not working properly.
and how can it take new row(sub total value) without assigning.

First let's start by not hijacking someone else's old post and start your own. Post a link to the other post if you think it will really be helpful, but we need your particulars - version, O/S, etc - and an example of your issue/question in order to help you. Also, that way you have control over the fate of the topic and can mark it resolved so we get there.
So, I've made a guess in your first post as to O/S, version, etc - edit it if I've got it wrong. Also can you post an example of your specific issue, sample input and desired output?
