ODBC Vs SQL Server Enterprise

ODBC Vs SQL Server Enterprise

Guru,

I have SQL Server as Source and Target using DS 8.5 on WINDOWS 2008 and using mostly ODBC Connector. I was just wondering why cant i use SQL Server Enterprise stage. Any thoughts on this is apreeciated.

Any thouths on this Which Stage is really the best to Use in long run ODBC or SQL SERVER Enterprise

Vanila or French Vanila. Your choice.

The only reason I can think of for using the ODBC stage is if you ever intend to port the job to a Unix platform. SQL Server Enterprise stage is not present on the Unix flavor.
