For a particular project, i want to view the node configuration details?
How to view the configuration file and how to change the node configurations?

The default configuration file is default.apt, with one node
this you can see by going to Tools, Configurations in datastage designer, there select default.apt configuration file .. so you can see the configuration file..
if you want to create own configuration file, just copy the code what is there in the default.apt file and select new file paste it there,
and give the node name ,paste how many nodes you want to create that many time and give the node name accordingly.
then check for errors, then save it.

You mentioned that this is a server license. If that's true, configuration file is moot.
Tools > Configurations is the correct location to use from client tools. Try using the Manager client.
Otherwise you can inspect, edit and check configuration files directly on the server. They are pure text files.
