Cannot export jobs from 8.5 to 8.0.1

All the jobs in 8.5 have been exported to my machine and then I tried to import them into 8.0.1

But a window opens which says:-

C:\Documents & Settings\KSK\ABC\ABN_NAME doesnot appear to be datastage export file or is from incompatible release.

A Valid Datastage export file is expected to be in windows format (i.e in CRLF Line Terminators)

please suggest !!

there is no back porting option, only an upgrade option.
