Active stages are those whose active/passive property is "active", passive stages are those whose active/passive property is "passive".

which stages are used to extracting/loading the data those stages are called as passive stages,and which stages are used to transformations those are called as active stages

Except when they're not, such as the Oracle OCI stage.
