How many jobs we can execute in parallel?

Hi All,

I would like to know if there is any limit in Datastage as to execute the number of jobs is parallel?

(In Specific- Can we execute 10 jobs in parallel or is there a limit on number jobs?).

It depends on the Hardware that you are using!!!

When you start paging is when things really slow down. Remember when you start a PX job there is a big spike in CPU then it settles down. So a few seconds delay will allow you to run more jobs at the same time.

There's no limit in DataStage.

There IS a limit imposed by the resources that the server(s) on which DataStage is running can deliver.
