Datastage jobs not compiling

Datastage jobs not compiling

Datastage jobs are not compiling , while creating a copy of job and compiling . Also some of the existing jobs are not getting compiled and show the status as compiling in progess . Using 8.1 version .

Kindly revert back ASAP.

It may be a software installation issue.

Sounds like you have a lock held on some director logs and status isn't getting updated appropriately. For a "quick fix" - have you tried re-starting the DataStage engine? Do a search in the forums for the procedure if you need it.

Have restarted the DataStage Engine and reflected with the same problem .

Shall I reboot the Datastage AIX server Or renewal that VC++ compiler as VC++ compiler may be expired for the same .

Please suggest with the valuable response .

The compiler comes into play for jobs with a Transformer stage in them. Do you only have this issue with those jobs? Or all jobs?

You should certainly check the licensing of your xlC_r compiler.
