Replace a character in a string

Replace a character in a string

HI,

is there any function in PX Transformer to replace a character, one character replaces to three characters in a string , like 'A' Should replace 'XYZ'.
Convert function is not working in this case .

There is no builtin function in PX to do this.

I vaguely recall someone posting either source code or comments about a user-written function to emulate the REPLACE function in server jobs, perhaps you could search for it.
This might be a case where a server job might be useful.
