"loaded" value are different from "writed&quo

When I use "load" mode to insert some data (DB2 ENTERPRISE STAGE), the value NULL (column type is smallint )is inserted as 0.
WHEN USING "write", null is inserted.
Why are they different?Or is there any option to set?
