Hi,

it would be useful if you provide a context for this error message.

I found an APAR on the IBM Support Pages regarding this error message.

JR32359: FATAL ERROR: THE INTERFACE IS NOT BOUND. [API\INTERFACE.C:125]

Pasted from <http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg1JR32359>

Probably that you have not enabled the collection of operational metadata.

In the Administrator client on the General page of project properties.

In the Job Run Options dialog, on the General page.

Using an option to the dsjob command that I can't remember just now.

If you are running Information Server 8.1 and have not yet installed Fix Pack 1:

I found two APAR's regarding this warning and the recommendation for both is to install Information Server 8.1 Fix Pack 1. There is also an environment variable to control collection of metadata and prevent warnings like this: DS_NO_PROCESS_METADATA.
(search google for JR31598, JR31484 site:ibm.com)

Note: If you are not sure about your installed Version and already applied Fix Packs/Patches, check your Version.xml File (Products and/or History Section) in the Information Server root directory.
