Why Doesnt Convert() change this character?

Not certain - it might have to do with NLS settings. Try outputting the same character in a PX job and see if it outputs the same character.

I did output it in a PX job and the character still was the same.

I'm new to the whole NLS thing. Can you chage the NLS setting per job? If so is it common practice?
