Temporary table in Netezza

Hi,

While updating the record in Netezza database using Netezza stage in Datastage, we need to provide a temporary table which should be created by DBA or Datastage creates at runtime.

My question is if I have a temporary table in different database insteat of having in the same database where I have my main Table... how can I use the temp table in my database Job as I can connect to only 1 database.

I tried to create a SYNONYM in the database where I have my main Table, which is refering to the table in another database. But this solution is not working.

Need an expert advise.
